【重点难点点拨】
1 because “因为”，引导的是原因状语从句。在同一句话里不能与so“所以”同时使用，只能二者取一。如：
Han Meimei cooked
some food because she was very hungry.
= Han Meimei was
very hungry so she cooked some food.
2 much too与too
much的区别：
(1)
much too “太……”，much用在too前面用来加强语气。如：
That's much too
dear.那太贵了。
He is much too
kind to me.他对我实在太好了。
(2) too much “太……”，用在不可数名词前或用作副词和代词（后面不跟名词时）。
如：
I had too much
rice last night.昨晚我米饭吃得太多了。
Eating too much
is bad for your health.吃得太多对健康不利。
3 more careful
“更仔细，更小心一点”，是形容词的比较级。多音节及部分双音节的形容词构成比较级和最高级时，在原级前面加more和most。如：
delicious —— more
