【重点、难点点拨】

　1． 学习祈使句。
　祈使句是用来表示请求，命令，提出建议，邀请别人做某事或不做某事的句子。祈使句通常省略主语you。动词用原形。有时可加please表示客气的请求。

例如：
　Come in, please　请进来。
　Do it like this.　像这样做（这件事）。
　否定形式是Don't + 动词原形。

例如：
　Don't worry.　别着急。
　Don't throw it like that.　别那样扔。
　另外，祈使句还有let's + 动词原形，或let + 某人 + 动词原型，表示请求对方同自己一起做某事，或请求对方的许可让某人做某事。

例如：
　Let's go to school.　　 让我们上学去吧。
　Let's go and play games.　我们去做游戏吧。
　Let me help you.　让我帮助你吧。
　Let me carry the box for you.　我来帮你搬这只箱子吧。

　2．学习there be句型。
　There is / are + 某物／某人＋某地，大致相当于汉语“某地有某物”。这里的“有”表示“存在”的意思。动词be(is / are)要与后面所跟名词（即主语）在“数”上保持一致。

例如：
　There is a river in the picture.　图画中有一条河。
　There are some trees near the river.　河的附近有一些树。
　Is there any water in the bottle?　瓶子里有水吗？
　There aren't any pencils in the pencil－box.　铅笔盒里没有铅笔。

3．学习情态动词can。
　can是情态动词，有一定的词义。（本单元表示询问“能力”）和另一动词一起构成谓语。在各种人称后都用同样的形式。can 后面须跟动词原形。否定式在 can 后面加not。（cannot=can't） 

例如：
　　I can swim.　　　　　　 我会游泳。
　　She can't play football.　　　　她不会踢足球。
　　Can you carry this heavy box?　 你能搬动这只箱子吗？

改错。下列句中，四处中有一处是错的，请找出。
　　1. Arethere two boatsin the river?　Yes, theyare.
　　2. Thereisabig bird onthe tree.
　　3. There area glassand four bottlesof orangeon the table.
　　4. Notplayfootballinthe street(街道).

解析:
　　第一句D是错的。there be句型的简略回答不用代词加be 动词。要用there加be。
　　第二句D是错的。短语on the tree是指树本身所长或具有的。例如：
　The apples on that tree are still green. 那棵树上的苹果还是绿的。而in the tree
是指不是树本身所长的。
　第三句A是错的。当there be句型后面跟有两个或两个以上名词时，动词be 通常与最靠近
它的名词在“数”上保持一致。本题应把there are改为there is.
　　第四句A是错的。祈使句的否定形式是在动词原形前面加Don't。
　　Don't = Do not.而且祈使句的否定形式要用其缩略形式。再如：
　Don't worry.　不要担心。
