【重点、难点点拨】
1． 初步理解定冠词the。
本单元定冠词the的用法是特指教室里唯一存在的事物。
例如：the floor, the blackboard等。或一项已经谈及的或已明确指示的存在物。
例如：on the desk, under the chair等。
2．介词in, on, under, behind的用法。
(1)要经常反复注意介词与动词的关系。（本单元是介词与动词be的关系）。由于英汉的差异，学生往往在句中忘掉动词be。
例如：
My bag is in the desk. 我的书包在书桌里。
I think they are in the classroom. 我想他们在教室里。
以上两个句子中的be动词(is, are) 切记不能忘掉。
(2)要充分注意介词之后的名词前面不要丢掉冠词。要严格区分“不用冠词”和“忽略冠词”这两个截然不同的概念。如本单元应熟记以下介词短语：
on the desk 在书桌上
in the pencil－box 在铅笔盒里
behind the door 在门后
under the chair 在椅子下面
注意，at school, on duty 是不用冠词的词组。
3．学习动词look
本单元动词look出现在三个地方，有两个意思；第一个是“看，瞧” 的意思。
例如：Look at the picture.(看那幅图片)
第二个意思是“显得，看上去”。
例如：They look the same.(他们看起来很像)
如要“说看起来像……” 通常要说look like。
例如：Lucy's hat looks like a cat.(露茜的帽子看上去像只猫)

1．选择正确的译文。
( ) 那个戴着帽子的女孩是谁？
A. The girl in the hat is who?
B. Who's the girl on the hat?
C. Who's the girl in the hat?
解析:介词in用来表示“穿着，戴着”。
例如：
a policeman in uniform 穿着制服的警察
a man in glasses 戴眼镜的人
介词on也有穿，戴着之意，通常与动词put等连用。
例如：
Please put on your coat. 请穿上你的外套。
所以本题答案应是C项。
2．用适当的词填空。

解析:
当我们不能确定一个人的身份，性别等情况时，一般用代词it来指代。如本单元中的句子：
Is it Lucy or Lily? （是露茜还是莉莉？）
